Arms?

Is it possible to ever get arms thin once they’ve been stretched out? I mean once the fat is even gone, will the skin remain? I’m scared toning won’t be enough, I don’t want flabby arms, and I’m hoping that I’m young enough that once I DO get all the fat off that I’ll be young enough that the skin will go back in place. Or is this just wishful thinking? I’m hoping surgery won’t be my only answer.

Any first hand examples of arms that have natually gone back to a slim state without surgery? I’m getting a little worried, but I’ll start working out soon and burning some fat. I think this is my best bet for now.

Thanks for any help :)

And I’m talking upper arms ;)

There are a lot of upper body workout you can do to tone up. I focus a lot on my upper body. You can use your own body weights - for example, push-ups, tri-cep dips will help define your arms. There’s a lot you can do with weights. If you go to the gym, do lat pull down, back extensions, rows. Also yoga will help you tighten up.

Because my problem is my upper body, I work them out relentlessly and it’s slowly paying off.

Replace the fatloss with some great, lean muscles and you’ll look good for the summer. :)

My number one pick for the upper body - push-ups and I mean work your way up to the regular ones.

I don’t think surgery is the only option, overall body toning is important. Sorry, left this out of the other comment.

For me I think it will be an issue…for you at your age I think you will be fine. Good luck…I understand your fear :)

I think at your age, it won’t be an issue, as long as you really work them out. for me, I will be 50 next year, and I am battling it. Good luck!

I lost a lot of weight (70 pounds) but was lifting weights for my arms and legs the entire time. There is some loose skin but with time it is going away and I see more muscle definition. I have kept up the weight training, am increasing the weights, and keeping up my cardio. It may take persistence and patience, but your arms should shape up.
